About this work

Oak panel, presumably from a piece of furniture (pulpit bowl), decorated with a carved relief. In the center, in front of a scrollwork cartouche, stands a male figure; to the left, a galloping horse with a child and a chariot drawn by swans; to the right, men with a bunch of grapes and a chariot drawn by a horse. The groups move away from the center; various figures are on the chariots.
