About this work

Conical foot with turned-over rim. The stem consists of a hollow knob between two composite flat knobs. In the knob is a silver coin (two mariengroschen) of George Louis of Brunswick-Lüneburg (1660-1727), dated 1714. The funnel-shaped bowl with thickened base and air bubbles. On the bowl the crowned monogram RGB flanked by two laurel branches tied together at the bottom. On the other side, on a grassy mound, two lions support a crown with one forepaw and with the other a double-headed, coiled snake.
