Double-walled beaker, with the coat of arms of the De Haen family

Lightly vaulted foot, double cuff under a hollow, baluster-shaped stem, above which a hollow flattened nodus under a funnel-shaped, rounded at the bottom calyx. Lightly vaulted lid with hollow curved knob. The foot, the calyx and the lid are double-walled and painted between the walls in blue-grey in a marble motif. The underside of the foot, the inside of the calyx and the underside of the lid are gilded from the inside. The hollow stem, nodus and knob of the lid are marbled from the inside. The cuff is marbled on the outside, the nodus is gilded on the outside. Gilded and engraved palmettes along the foot rim, the transition from foot to cuff and the rim of the calyx. On the calyx in gold the coat of arms of the Amsterdam merchant family De Haen, surrounded by foliage and crowned by a closed helmet with a cock as a crest. The coat of arms: 1 and 4 a cock looking to the left and three stars, and 2 and 3 lattice work.
