About this work

Flat foot with turned-over rim and pontil mark. Hollow, baluster-shaped stem with two discs. Funnel-shaped bowl rounded at the bottom. On the bowl are engraved the arms of the Seven Provinces, with the arms of the province of Groningen depicted larger than those of the other provinces. Floral sprigs are engraved above and below the arms.
