About this work

The pear-shaped bowl is connected by a needle to the four-sided stem, which is bent and pinched at the base and then straight. The short, pinched section is faceted at the top. Where the four-sided section splits, it gives the impression that the faceted part connects. The stem is separated from the crown in the form of a goat's foot with a naturalistically worked surface by a profile closed on both sides with a wreath of engraved leaf motifs.
