About this work

Oval tureen with lid, standing on volutes. The wall flares into two handles with a pearl edge. The lid rests on four hooks in the tureen. The knob of the lid is formed by a bunch of flowers. The wall of the tureen is engraved with garlands and vases. The tureen is marked: maker= Amsterdam, year= Y (1783) and master= Voet 430. The tureen is kept on a round non-matching dish (BK-NM-11177-131-b). The tureen resembles two tureens with inv. nos. BK-NM-11177-254 and BK-NM-11177-255.
