About this work
Drop-leaf table on a baluster-shaped leg that flares out into a tripod. The top is oval and has an applied, scalloped edge. The drop-leaf table is marked: maker's mark = Amsterdam, year mark = Z (1759), and maker = Arnoldus van Geffen. On the table, a serving tray with a coffee and tea set is preserved (BK-NM-11177-158). The drop-leaf table is identical to a drop-leaf table with inventory number BK-NM-11177-181-a.
