About this work

Against the crossed poles on one side stands a ladder with a man in front of it. The man holds a rod in his right hand and wears a harlequin hat. The plate features a diamond pattern engraving. The image is marked: mt.= Michiel Maanbeeck and a crowned V in a coat of arms.
