About this work
On a rectangular plate stands a horse. The horse pulls a sleigh. The reins are attached to a beam with a towing hook, to which the sleigh can be hooked. The sleigh has high sides with bars and stands on semi-circular iron runners. The statue is marked: stk.= Amsterdam, jrl.= 1736, mt.= Willem van Strant.
