About this work

On an elongated plate stands a goat with a man on its back. The man holds a twisted whip in his right hand. The ends of the plate are bent downwards and outwards and now serve as supports for the plate. In the plate and in one of the supports is a hole through which a lever protrudes, attached to the goat's hind legs. By moving the lever, the goat moves up and down. The image is marked: stk.= Hoorn, an axe and an unknown master's mark.
