About this work
On an elongated, almost square plate stands a doghouse. In front of the house sits a dog. The edge of the plate is scalloped and a diamond pattern is engraved in the plate. The image is engraved: stk.= Amsterdam, jrl.= O (1773), mt.= Pieter van Somerwil II and an axe.
