About this work
Cabinet veneered with walnut and decorated with marquetry of walnut, satinwood, rosewood, ebony and ivory on a pine core. The furniture is divided into an upper and lower cabinet. The upper cabinet features two doors, flanked by five drawers on each side, and one drawer above and below. The lower cabinet has two front doors. The drawers and doors are inlaid with flowers, birds, butterflies, mermaids and tritons with conch shells. In the upper horn in ivory the letters FVG and on the left in walnut the word GRABANT.
