About this work

Round foot-warmer of blue-painted faience, on three legs with two handles. The foot-warmer has a high standing wall with a rim on which lie three horizontal and three vertical supports. The wall has semi-circular openings and is painted with six panels containing seascapes with ships. The foot-warmer is dated: 1756.
