About this work

Fragment of red silk, composed of 5 pieces, with a pattern in gold, yellow and white of curved stylised leaves and flower clusters, which enclose palmette-shaped compartments containing a large tuft of leaves and flowers. Selvedge green and white. Probably part of a liturgical garment.
