About this work
Armchair of walnut. The furniture has a seat and back with caning and rests on S-shaped front legs and scrolled back legs. The armrests end in a volute and are decorated with a beaded middle rib, as is the back panel. The free-standing back posts are topped with vases. The oval central field is bordered on both sides by posts with openwork pierced acanthus leaf and flowers.
