About this work
Oak door (from a cupboard?), in three widths. The space for the lock plate and the keyhole is cut out; the remaining hollowed central field is decorated with blind tracery and two camelback arches on columns with alternately checkered and twisted shafts. The mounts consist of flat bands that frame the central field. They are decorated with openwork vines of Gothic "three-leaf". In the upper border three-leaf and heraldic lilies alternate. Mounts on an old ground layer of fabric.
