About this work
On a plinth sits a monk between two kneeling boys. He rests his left hand on a knee and bends to the left over the boy, who has his hands folded; to the right the back view of a second boy. The monk in monastic habit wears the hood over his head; the boys are in long shirts, the second's girded.
