About this work
Bust of a young woman. The head on the long neck is inclined slightly forward and to the left; the braided hair comes together in a knot above the forehead. The bust, cut off halfway down the upper arms, transitions into a profiled plinth. The garment has a round neckline; over the left shoulder hangs a mantle folded at the neck.
