About this work
The round, cast, pierced container rests on three curved legs crowned by a scroll edge. The upper edge is built from flower branches, the lower edge from C-scrolls to which scroll edges hang. On the upper side, a smooth ring runs along the inner edge, on which the actual vessel, a liner of faceted cut, colourless glass, rests. This has a lobed, gilded upper edge (that of B is slightly damaged).
