About this work

Console table laminated with rosewood and satinwood on an oak core. The half-oval, white-marble top rests on four square posts, placed on conical legs decorated with gilded bronze rings. The posts are connected at the level of the legs by a half-oval panel and carry hardware consisting of gilded bronze plates divided by horizontal grooves, sunflowers, and knobs. The panel features satinwood panels with frames. The top and bottom panels largely carry a gallery.
