About this work
Round plate of multicoloured painted majolica. On the flat surface, a coat of arms is painted with a helmet crest of a bird (duck?) with outstretched wings. The coat of arms is divided; the left side is solidly coloured, and the right side features a straight, a curved, and a crooked line. The rim is divided into eight compartments containing a stylised flower. The outer edge is scalloped.
