About this work

Armchair of brown lacquered beechwood, with rush seating. The S-shaped legs, connected by a swagged X-shaped cross, merge into the seat rails. Various parts bear pierced ornaments. The trapezoidal seat frame is carved at the front and arched at the sides. The armrest supports are placed backwards and merge S-shaped into the outward-sloping armrests, ending in a volute. The supported back frame, carved at the top and bottom, has straight S-shaped stiles.
