Textile fragment in tapestry work

Natural-colored linen fabric fragment with a woven silk decoration in tapestry technique of five bands containing various motifs. The central band has small leaf motifs in dark blue, light blue, and yellow with brown outlines, surrounded by a dotted motif in blue. The narrow border at the bottom converges and ends in a drop motif. The bands to the left and right, in the same color range, feature a motif of successive hearts, some with small foliage and framing. Both bands have a converging border that also ends in a drop motif. The outer bands have a successive motif of a stylized flower alternating with a geometric motif.
