About this work
Fabric fragment with a red pattern on a green ground, consisting of octagons alternately filled with a deer leaping to the right or a dog walking to the left. Between the octagons is a stylized floral motif. The pattern is interrupted by a horizontal band of dark blue with a linked circular motif in floating thread technique.
