About this work
Elongated fragment of red lampas with a pattern in gold. Concentric circles and quatrefoils form a framework on a ground with arabesques and floral motifs. In the circles are green rosettes within a leaf wreath; between each four circles, a four-lobed blue rosette with white sepals.
