About this work

Stocking knitted of plain black shiny cotton, with wool heels. Seam at the back center, embroidered diamond shape on the heel. Narrow hem. In ecru cross-stitch the letter 'N', and a knitted inscription: 'L', three crosses one above the other and an 'M' shape.
