About this work
Five fragments of a silk textile. Brown silk warp with wefts of silver thread and of white, green, pink and red-brown silk. The design consists of large diamond-shaped medallions containing leaf and fruit motifs. Note: Self-fringed; small fragments joined together; twill, satin, 1 cm wide. Various types and colors of silk.
