About this work

Pilaster of polychrome pine wood. The pilaster has a profiled base and a composite capital; the shaft is decorated in relief within the profile with trophies of musical instruments, masks, shields, flowers and fruits on ribbons, crowned by winged cherub heads. The carving is painted on a gold ground in red, blue, gray, green, black and white and locally heightened with gold.
