Candelabrum with six arms

The object consists of a round wrought-iron rod, a wedge pin of sheet iron, and the following cast and subsequently turned parts of brass: the hanging ring, a baluster-shaped intermediate piece, the stem part with the stand ring, the sphere, the knob, six arms with the associated drip pans, candle holders and pins. The stem part with the stand ring is baluster-shaped above the stand ring and concave-convex-concave profiled below it. The stand ring decorated with grooved rings has six fixing points, of which five are marked with one to five points, corresponding to the signs on the ends of the arms. The profiled knob has an acorn-shaped knoblet at the end and is attached to the iron rod. This is provided at the other end with a slit for the wedge pin. The S-shaped arms run out towards the stem in a stylised dolphin head and outwards into a thickening, in which the screw hole is made.
