About this work
Bowl-shaped chocolate pot with lid of earthenware, Black Basalt. The pot has a raised, bracket-shaped rim with two holes in which the loose handle of wrapped reed hangs. The spout is S-shaped and the lid has a knob in the form of a seated woman with a piece of paper in her left hand. The belly of the pot is decorated in relief with playing naked children, above a border of cut-out vertical reeds. The pot is marked.
