About this work
Rectangular lead plaque with beveled edges. A bent old man, wearing a wreath on his head, walks to the left with a staff in his right hand; in the other hand he holds a cup. His left leg is inserted into a small barrel with a spouting tap. To the right, a wine vat filled with grapes. A ladder leans against a heavy fortress wall in the middle ground. Hilly landscape with trees and arable land; a mountain peak in the distance.
