About this work

Fragment of a stoneware jug. Partially covered with cobalt blue. The fragment shows a printed and applied relief representation of the Crucifixion with Mary Magdalene and the skull at the foot of the cross. The scene is surrounded by engraved and stamped floral scrolls. Westerwald.
