About this work

A scissors case of wrought and chiseled iron. Decorated on both sides with flowers and additionally on one side with a cupid shooting at a winged heart with the inscription: RANTOY . CEUR. VOLLAG. (Rend toi coeur volage.) on the other side a gentleman and lady presenting each other a large heart under a crown with the inscription: AMOUR . POUR. AMOUR.
