About this work

Knife with an iron blade decorated with engravings. On one side a leaping dog; the other side shows a soldier with a halberd and a sword in its scabbard, above which are curled vine motifs and at the top a bird (phoenix?). The handle is decorated with flowers of multiple colors in enamel. The end of the handle is openwork. The blade and handle are partially gilded.
