About this work

Strip of natural-coloured bobbin lace. The pattern consists of horizontal lines between which overhanging pairs create a striped pattern. In the middle of the stripes, always a small circle is realized. The horizontal lines are made in linen stitch. With a double decorative thread a curved line is made along the underside, resulting in a semi-circular shell. This is finished with a plait that forms narrow triangular lobes.
