About this work

Pricking for a needle lace appliqué: tool in the form of a rectangular black leaf in which the pattern of butterfly wings and a butterfly is 'pricked'. At the bottom a white strip of paper is pasted with the text '1st work'. It belongs to a series of a total of 4 objects in which the development is demonstrated to arrive at a butterfly of Brussels needle lace.
