About this work

Goblet with an engraved scene of two sailing frigates and the inscription 't Welvaeren van de gaende en koomende scheepe. The bowl is conical with a thick solid base. The stem is solid with air bubble and two knobs, the upper one broad. Flat foot with turned-up rim.
