About this work
Curved foot with turned-over rim and pontil mark. Octagonal in shape blown stem with a knop. Conical bowl with rounded thickened base, into which an air bubble has been inserted. On the bowl the crowned coat of arms of the city of Utrecht is engraved with two standing lions as supporters. Above it in Gothic letters 't, Welvaren van UTREGT'. On the reverse side, two men carry a bunch of grapes on a stick.
