About this work
Round plate of blue-painted faience with a scalloped edge. On the flat surface a bird (heron?) is painted among flowers, and on the rim floral and foliate scrolls. The plate is marked: P and P<. The plate was lent in 1967 to the Historical Museum in Venlo. Four identical examples accompany the plate with inventory numbers BK-NM-13285-b, BK-NM-13285-c, BK-NM-13285-d and BK-NM-13285-e.
