About this work
Soft-paste porcelain (pâte tendre) plate with a slightly lobed rim, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, purple, and gold. On the flat surface a bouquet of various flowers surrounded by straw flowers. The wall with a leafy vine. The rim is divided into compartments with alternating a flower vine or rosette and three decorative bands. Above it a leafy vine. Golden rim. Marked on the underside with a W.
