About this work

Soft-paste porcelain plate (pâte tendre) with a straight wall, painted in enamel colors and gold. On the flat surface a landscape with a couple. The woman sits on the ground, leaning against a rock, looking up at the standing man before her. Blue line on the wall. Worn golden rim. Marked on the underside with SX.
