About this work
Porcelain cup with a cylindrical wall and C-shaped handle, painted on the glaze in blue, pink, green, purple and gold. The upper part of the outer wall is decorated with three bands. In the middle, medallions with a flower or rosette flanked by leafy vines against a green background. Above this, a leafy vine with blue dots. The lower band shows gold garlands with a stylized floral motif. Above the foot and on the rim, a gold line. The inner rim with a band of half gold spheres. On the handle, a modeled palmette applied with gold, followed by gold dots. Marked on the underside with the double L.
