About this work

Octagonal porcelain plate, painted on the glaze in red and gold. On the flat surface, a star in a medallion. On this medallion, two flowering plants (prunus) with an insect between them. A band with leaf motifs on the inner rim. Marked on the underside with VEN:A and A twice.
