About this work

Porcelain cup on a spreading foot, slightly flaring wall, and high, curled handle. Painted in blue and gold. The cup is entirely covered in gold, with a blue band on the outer wall. Engraved within this band is the inscription 'GRATUS SANUS MEMOR MEDICI' and two decorative bands. Marked on the underside with B, 10, and 1/5.
