About this work

Porcelain plate with straight sides, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, black, and gold. The center features a gilded medallion with an engraved pot and branches. Surrounding it: a gilded band and a band with floral scrolls. The sides are covered in gold with three hexagonal compartments, each containing a griffin. The compartments are linked by blue floral motifs. Gilded rim.
