About this work

Porcelain cup on a high, flaring foot, slightly flaring rim and high, curled handle, painted in blue and gold. The cup is covered in gold on the outer wall, over which blue has been applied. In this is engraved a pedestal with an illegible inscription with a quiver and a cannon, within a laurel wreath. Golden bands on the foot and rim. Golden handle.
