About this work

Porcelain cup with a cylindrical body and C-shaped handle, painted on the glaze in red, pink, green, brown, black, and gold. On the outer wall, a marbled matte purple band with Chinese scenes (Chinoiserie) in gold medallions. Below, a garland and a swag. Gold bands on the rim and above the foot. Gold dots on the handle.
