About this work

Porcelain cup on a tall, spreading foot with a high, curved handle, painted on biscuit in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, and black, and on the glaze in gold. The outer wall is divided into three horizontal bands. The lower band features floral branches, the middle band flowers on a green field (cashmere or paisley pattern) separated by small floral branches, and the upper band stylized floral scrolls. The foot, a large part of the inner wall, and the handle are covered in gold. An illegible mark on the underside.
