About this work

Porcelain plate, glazed and painted in gold. The center features a rosette surrounded by concentric circles. The wall has a decorative band of gold floral scrolls with two medallions flanked by palmettes. Butterflies are incised in the medallions. Gold rim. The outer edge and foot have a gold line.
