About this work

Porcelain tureen on a high, spreading foot with a molded egg-shaped body and a slightly recessed, straight rim. The two handles are in the form of a leaf scroll, ending just before the rim in a woman's head. Painted with gold bands. Marked on the underside with No. 9 and Co 61.
